The formation of The Road Home Ministry is picking up pace. God has convicted my heart and compelled me to press on toward establishing this ministry's base quickly. James 4:17 says that "...knowing what is right to do and then not doing it is sin". As much as my flesh would like to wait a few years, The Lord said to me, "act now". I have realized several times over that my own resources are insufficient to carry out this assignment. My knowledge base, finances, and connections are all lacking, but my heart is steadfast in Jehova Jireh, My Provider.

I am asking for your help, Church at large, to support this ministry in several ways:

1) Connect our ministry with youth and children's ministries who are seeking to minister to troubled kids. We are located in Southern Atlanta, but are looking for churches all over the world. I (Marty) am also available for engagements to speak on the topic of reaching troubled youth and children. 2) Connect our ministry with Christian adoption agencies, foster homes, and group homes. Any contact information you can provide may help us by building my knowledge base and helping us create a resource list of legitimate agencies. 3) Connect our ministry with Christian families and individuals who share a work and/or vision similar to ours. No one should be a "Lone-Ranger" in Christ's body. To be effective, we all need to be discipled, held accountable, and connected with others. Help us to create a network of Christians raising and/or ministering to troubled kids. It doesn't matter what their situation is, we want to know who is out there laboring in the fields. Are you a pastor with a family you want to recognize or help? We want to do that. Are you a Christian DFCS worker who is particularly proud of one person's work? We want to know that. Please respond to this request only by writing to m.altman@lycos.com for privacy reasons.

4) Last, but not least, we need your Financial Support. If you believe in the values and purpose of this ministry and feel that God wants you to give, then we need your help.
